Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) is the new name for the condition previously known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
The updated name better reflects the condition as a complex hormonal and metabolic condition that can affect menstrual cycles, fertility, metabolism, skin and overall wellbeing.
