Baby Checks

The dedicated team at The Butterfly Clinic provides regular baby checks to monitor infant growth, development, and overall well-being. At baby check appointments, healthcare professionals conduct thorough assessments, including measurements of weight, length, and head circumference. We also evaluate motor skills, sensory development, and milestones to ensure your baby is thriving. These check-ups are also an opportunity to address any concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on infant care, nutrition, immunisations, and age-appropriate activities.

Generally, baby checks will be conducted at The Butterfly Clinic around the following times:

  • 1 to 4 weeks
  • 6 to 8 weeks
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 12 months

These appointment time recommendations may differ from patient to patient, and our friendly team can provide individualised information and guidance.
