Dr Sarah Chu

I’m Dr Sarah Chu, a Specialist General Practitioner. After I moved from my clinic at Kangaroo Point, I have worked in General Practice for a number of years. And I love to support our community of women and children in their health journeys.

I am thrilled to be able to offer preconception, antenatal and post-natal care, iron infusions, travel medicine, and lifestyle medicine to prevent, control or even reverse chronic disease.

More about Sarah

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery. I hold a diploma in dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology and a diploma in children's health from Westmead Children's Hospital and the University of Sydney, a diploma in dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. I am a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and obtained a Certificate in Travel Health in 2013. I am the Honorary Treasurer for the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine.

I am committed to ongoing professional education, ensuring that my patients receive the highest quality of care. A few years ago, I became a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician with the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

I am actively involved in teaching the next generation of doctors as a University of Queensland Senior Lecturer and am also one of the assessors for the RACGP exams.
