Dr Alexandra Hepson

I’m Dr Alex Hepson (she/her), a dedicated and experienced GP committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services specifically tailored for women, babies and children. My practice encompasses all aspects of women's health, including preconception care, antenatal care, contraception, cervical screening tests, abnormal periods, and breast concerns. I also love seeing babies and children for preventative care and managing health concerns.

I believe in empowering women to make informed decisions about their health by providing them with the knowledge and support they need. It would be my privilege to accompany you on your healthcare journey, providing unwavering support and ensuring the highest quality of care at every stage.

More about Alexandra

I completed my medical degree at James Cook University in 2015, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020. I have completed additional education in my areas of interest including Diploma of Child Health, FPAA Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Neuroprotective Developmental Care (Possums) accreditation. I am also qualified to provide antenatal GP Shared Care at Mater Mothers Hospital and other public hospitals in Brisbane.
